Energy policy & regulationInternation expert in distributed power generation
Non-executive directorCommercial expertise

Distributed generation (DG) typically refers to energy that is produced locally, sometimes to match on-site electricity and/or heat demand and often from renewable sources. Markets and networks have tended to overlook this type of power in the past, but increasingly steps are being taken to reward properly and positively accommodate such generation. I have over twenty years’ experience in consulting in all aspects of DG, including policy, international market design, technical network integration, charging and regulatory principles and negotiation of specific connection and power contracts.
